Abstract
The present document relates the normative, ethical and research foundation in the experimentation with animals "laboratory rats" of the Catholic University of Cuenca, in Ecuador. Laboratory equipment and supplies for the development of undergraduate and graduate research projects are described. Likewise, the nosological and educational description of processes within teaching that will be dealt with in the classroom as practice of the subjects referred to classical psychology is detailed.
